The Procurement Unit is headed by Administrative Officer IV Dan Harvey D, Castro, the first Procurement Officer of the Schools Division Bulacan.

The unit serves as the decentralized procuring entity responsible for acquiring goods, infrastructure projects, and consulting services essential to school operations. It operates under the supervision of the Division Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and ensures that all procurement activities comply with Republic Act No. 9184, or the Government Procurement Reform Act.

The Procurement Unit plays a key role in supporting the Division’s educational objectives by aligning financial resources with operational needs. It maintains a robust internal control system to safeguard public funds and prevent delays, substandard deliveries, and non-compliance.

As part of its function, the unit ensures that all procured items—from basic classroom materials to specialized equipment—meet required standards and are delivered on time. This contributes to efficient supply chain management and supports the continuous operation of schools.

The unit is committed to integrity, transparency, and efficiency in all procurement processes. Through proper planning, fair competition, and strict adherence to regulations, it promotes good governance and helps ensure the effective delivery of quality basic education.
